James had just completed his senior year and already started moving into the next chapter of his life…..sending in papers to serve a full-time church service mission so we had a short window of opportunity to capture his portraits before he headed out.

Fortunately, the weather cooperated, which doesn’t always happen during December in Nauvoo. A little warmer than usual. A little less windy than usual. And the perfect cloud cover with just enough light filtering through. The perfect conditions for this photo session in old Nauvoo.

Ahh…..Senior Portraits. What a fabulous way to mark a milestone in life. Here are a few we caught of James just before he embarked on his next journey.

As you finished one chapter (high school) in your life’s journey and moved very quickly into the next (full-time mission), we were excited to be there to mark the transition. Thanks for letting us share a few moments  with you before  heading off on your new adventure.
