It was overcast. It was a little windy. It was a little rainy. But that didn’t stop the Thornock family from smiling through the entire portrait session when they gathered in Nauvoo for a family reunion.

They were such troopers even with the wind blowing hair (and neckties!) sideways at times, the moved quickly from place to place so we could get through the session before the rain began…..and for a group of 70, they moved without delay when asked.

This large posterity is a tribute to two loving parents who exhibited such gentleness and kindness. Here are a few photos from their family reunion.

It was such fun to watch your family interact during our time with you. We loved seeing the little ones with Grandpa, cousins playing on the grounds, siblings laughing and chatting together. Great family…..and an awesome reunion T-shirt! Thanks for letting us join the family for a few hours.
